Your Great name

Just think. How great is our God? There is like an infinite number of names for God because God is all things.  God is the father. God is the healer. He is the creator. He is son of GOD and man because God came to Earth as a human just to die on the cross for our sins. He is the only reason we exist. His name is holier than any other names and he will be there in an instant to rescue you. My favorite part of this song says the enemy has to leave at the sound of your great name. But think about it. A lot of times I think this is a great song but why? This song didnt really click for me until today when I realized that it really means so much more than i thought it did. Jesus says no one comes to the father except through him.  All condemed find thier way at the sound of your great name because God will wipe your slate clean he doesnt judge you the only thing he  has unconditional love. We serve a God who looks down this morning and sees individuals and he sees you ans he knows your name. So turn your attention up on him the one can give you fresh strength." One life to Loose

What more do I have to give than the rest of all of my life?  What do you do with time procrasinate, waste it, watch tv? Why not let everything you do worship Jesus the one who made us the one who gives us life? We only have one life and God commands us to worship him and to do everything for his glory. God forgives everything that we do and we become a new creation. For this we should be eternally grateful. There is one Lord who leads. God commands us To pick up our cross and follow him no matter how steep or how much it costs even of it means to give him our life.  Weather we are persecuted or slain or anything else. God helps up when \we need help and when we are down. so thats where the I have learned that when I am lost its there that I am found comes in. Because Even if you were the only lost person on the planet God would have still come to earth to die for you.  He loves you so much? Why not spend the rest of your life to glorify him in everything that you do and with every word you  breathe. Why not worship him with your life? What more precious can you give to the creator? Dont live life for yourself. If you do in the end the end its worth nothing. Playing the Background.

So in Christanity people have so many arterial motives when we should only have one which is to glorify our maker. God gives us great things and all great things come from God. We like to take the credit for some stuff instead of giving it to God when its really his talents and his knowledge that accomplishes it anyways. By our self without God we are nothing. He is all of everything that we are. When you think of yourself more then you are making yourself a false God and the first commandment says thou shall have no other Gods before thee that includes yourself. Dont get me wrong its okay to have good self esteem and self confidence as you should, but you should only have that because you know that you are a son or a daughter of the most high king. The bible says that you cant cant serve two masters. so you either hate God, love money or hate money and love God. or the other way around. Hate God love self, or love God hate self. But if you choose the Love God you option you will have self esteem and self confidence that comes with it but watch yourself that God gets the glory that he deserves.  Listen you are no better than anyone else remember that. Grace

Hey guys. I am sorry for my lack of obedience. God gives grace though. Ephesians 2:8, 9 says its by grace that I have been saved. Grace is a great thing but it can also be a touchy subject. Some people think oh God gives grace so I can keep on doing this sin because I like to do it God will give me grace for it. However it doesnt work that way. As long as you are trying to become more Christ like and as long as you know its a sin. Then God will give you grace. But that is as long as you are trying to seek him and follow him. He has unlimted grace for us as sinners because no one will ever be perfect and the only perfect guy that ever lived was Jesus Christ. But you hear things like his grace is enough. Do you believe that grace is enough?   todays' song is called Grace. Its by Laura Story. It tells hows Gods love and his grace is sufficient as long as we are moving toward the kingdom. The voice of truth

So I have been thinking about the sing the voice of truth by casting crowns. One time I went to a casting crowns concert. Mark Hall the lead singer said that when he was younger he had dyslexia.  Thats one reason he wrote this song. Because he constantly battled dyslexia everyday. For him that was his giant. He would always keep trying. Satan tried to bring him down so much but the truth conquers  all lies. In the second verse where is says oh what i would do to have to stand before a giant surrounded by the sound of a thousand warriors wishing they would have had the strength to stand. This could be taken into many accounts. I will give you a couple. The giants this song is referring to isnt literally a giant. Its hardships and things you encounter in life. Things that you may think are much bigger than you things that may seem like they are hard to overcome. They are overcomable.  Then the surrounded by the sound of a thousand warriors could be taken different ways as well. The warriors could be angels cheering you on. the wishing they had the strength to stand before the giant could mean that they wanted you to have that streangth so they are cheering you on instead. It could also mean demons or satans angels. Because when it comes to God Satan and all his angels are whimps. They probally thought that I wish I could stand before my giant instead im stuck here with my master. THE MASTER THAT THEY CHOSE! Again this song is about battling lies standing up for things that try to come against you and stepping out of your comfort zone. Its only when you are out of your comfort zone that you begin to do great things.

Hands and feet are just not limbs.

Hey Guys. Today I got to thinking that Hands and feet are just not limbs. We are called as the body of christ to be the hands and the feet of god. We are called to show his love do good works. We are called to love. We are called to minister to other people and we are called to do whatever christ would do as we are being his hands and feet. We, who belong to the Church, are the living parts or members of Christ's body. "Christ is the head of the Church and saves the whole body" (Eph 5:23). Just as Christ is the vine, He is the head of His body, giving life to the members and bringing about their salvation. Paul uses the analogy of the human body in showing that all parts must cooperate for the good of the Church: "Not you together are Christ's body; but each of you is a different part of it" (I Cor 12:27) 
Are we going to sit back and watch or are going to be Jesus hands and feet. Weather its reaching out to your community or just a friend or a church member in need. God looked down on no one but he loved everyone the same. Dont let your perceptions of someone or something slow you down. There is a quote that I like that says " If your vision doesnt intimidate you, its probally insulting to God."    Dont be an insult be a "limb" Do as christ would do. In your own comfort zone there is no room for growth.

Hey Guys. I think that you must know where I am coming from with a little background first. I struggle with low self esteem. I beleive everything Im fat, im ugly, im stupid, nobody likes me. Typical things people stuggle with today. THE TRUTH IS THOSE ARE ALL LIES. Lies so many men, women, boys, and girls struggle with beleiving everyday. It leads people to think no one cares about them or leaves them depressed. I want you to know that you are loved so much. So much that its beyond measure. Jesus Loves you so much that he died for you. I am just now starting to understand what that means self esteem wise. Thats why my self esteem is starting to get better. With that being said, Satan can play you in your mind and your spirit. But why do you let him get to you? Doesnt  Jesus specifically say to flee from temptation. I am not being holier than now as I struggle with beleiving so many lies and giving   into temptation as well but If Jesus commands it we must try to obey. Satan is scared of the name of Jesus Christ so if in those dark moments all you can say is Jesus Satan will flee from you. He is the master of lies and the master of twisted truths. So please dont give into temptation. If its really hard for you right now find someone who can hold you accountable. As James 5:16 says "Confess your sins to each other so you can pray for each other in service and in love because the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and holy."
