Hey sorry for the lack of post. i really am going to try to do better because i have to much so say to let it all go to waste. So I am in a season of life right now where every second I am alive comes from my hope in Jesus Christ. As long as I am here on this Earth he will use me according to his will and purpose for my life. As I was thinking about things over the last couple of days. I thought about other people and how sometimes they beleive that God has given up on them or doesnt love them or can never love them anymore and I thought, how sad. If you dont place your hope in something you have nothing to live for so why not place your hope and your life in God? It is his anyway. God has put us here to love us and to be his instruments to show his love to other people and to serve him. So we must give our life over to him and give him what is rightfully his. 1 Corinthians 6:20 says you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body. And honoring God with your body means giving it to him. God loves each and every one of us the same. He is our heavenly Father. He will never forget about you nor he will never give up on you because everything works out for the good of those who love the Lord weather you believe it or not. He takes broken people and uses them to help others through times of hardship and strife. He takes broken people and that is who he chooses to be his disciples. Everyone is broken so that makes everyone the chosen. He also wants you to believe that he is all you need so that is why sometimes everything dont always turn out like we want it to. But he wants us to rely on him to strengthen our relationship wirh him because when you are walking in the light of Christ nothing can get in your way. Hebrews 13:5 tells us that he will never leave us nor forsake us. So what do you put your hope in? Is it if you will get to see your friends or maybe you will win the lottery or maybe the boy or girl you like will ask you out. But the only true place for your hope to be in the lord. Two things in this are totally worth thinking about for all of us.
ReplyDelete1. You talked about a season of your life where you are totally dependent upon hope in Him. I suspect that is right where He wants you to be. We are most willing to listen to Him when life is toughest, when our plans to solve problems do not work.
2. The being bought at a price thing is huge, and I suspect many of us in the USA miss out on this because slavery here in the past has been something horrible, something very different from what it was in Bible times. Back then people would become slaves due to debts or other reasons. Now, having said that, He paid an enormous price for us. He was sinless and became sin for our eternal benefit.
